We've recently been awarded 5 new Demand Responsive Transport contracts covering a wider area. These contract are due to commence in March 2010. We will update this page with more information soon.
Demand Responsive Transport also known as DRT is the latest innovation in public transport. It allows us to link rural areas with existing transport links. Our Demand Responsive Transport Service is the equivalent of an on-demand bus service as many households across Strathard & Trossachs are not serviced by the main bus routes. Passengers can call our bookings team directly on 0844 567 5670 and request a to book a journey.
The journey can be to either connect up with existing public transport links within the Strathard & Trossachs areas or to another destination within the Demand Responsive Transport area – all this is at the cost of bus fare, rather than a taxi fare.
What is Demand Responsive Transport? Demand Responsive Transport is a service that can respond to your needs - the route can be flexible as long as it is within the operational areas. (Currently Trossachs & Strathard).
Who can use Demand Responsive Transport? The service is available to any member of the public within the operational areas.

How do I make a booking? Bookings can be raised by using any of the following methods:
1 Calling or Texting our dedicated Bookings Team on 0844 567 5670 between 7am and 7pm Monday - Saturday.
2 Filling in our on-line booking form, detailing in the notes section that the booking is for a Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) Journey.
3 Sending an e-mail to drt@aberfoylecoaches.com or a fax to 01877 382 998 with the Date, Time, Pick-up & Drop-Off Point along with Full Names & Contact Numbers of Passengers wishing to travel.
What time does the service start and finish? Demand Responsive Transport is currently operational between Monday - Saturday, 7am til 9.30pm.
