DRT Transport
Demand Responsive Transport which is also referred to as DRT is the latest innovation in Public Transport. The service is operated in partnership with Stirling Council and connects rural areas with existing transport links. Transport is provided in a mini-bus, private hire car or taxi however will be charged at the low price of a bus fare.
All journeys MUST be pre-booked. Children aged 15 or under will travel at half the cost of a standard fare and Stirling Council Concession Card holders will be entitled to travel for free. Passengers will be required to share the vehicle with other DRT users.
We will always try and accommodate DRT requests however on certain occasions we may need to adjust journey times to suit other passengers.

Strathard Area DRT
Demand Responsive Transport journeys will be available Monday to Saturday 7.30am and 9.30pm within the area comprising:
The A821 at the East End of Aberfoyle Village, the end of the public road at Inversnaid, the end of the public road at Stronachlachar and the A821 at the North end of the Aberfoyle Village.
Trossachs Area DRT
Demand Responsive Transport journeys will be available Monday to Sunday 7.30am and 9.30pm within the area comprising:
The A821 at the East End & B829 at west end of Aberfoyle village, unclassified road on north shore of Loch Katrine at Glengyle House; A84 at west end of Kilmahog; A84 at east end & A81 at south end of Callander.
Fintry Area DRT
Demand Responsive Transport journeys will be available Monday to Saturday 7.30am and 9.30pm within the area comprising:
Kippen Cross Bus Stops, the junction of the A875 and the B818 at Blackhills Crossroads, the junction of the B818 and B822 Gonachan, Balfron, Buchanan Street Bus Stops and Arnrprior Bus Stop.
Killin & Strathfillan Area DRT
Demand Responsive Transport journeys will be available Monday to Saturday 7.30am and 9.30pm within the area comprising:
Lix Toll, Inverarnan (Council Boundary at the A82), the Council Boundary at the A85 West of Tyndrum, the Council Boundary on A82 North of Tyndrum, the A827 at Bridge of Lochay North of Killin.
Balquhidder Area DRT
Demand Responsive Transport journeys will be available Monday to Saturday 7.30am and 9.30pm within the area comprising:
Inverlochlarig, Monachyle, Cragruie, Balquhidder, Ballimore, Auchtoo, Kinghouse, Lochearnhead and Strathyre.
