We understand everyone has some questions about coach hire, after all it’s not every day that someone hires a coach! We’ve listed some of our most commonly received questions below.
Common Questions - Coach Hire
The cost of hiring a coach varies due to a number of factors, including date of hire, duration of hire and number of passengers. For a customised quotation simply e-mail our sales and bookings team.
We have a variety of coach sizes within our fleet including 16, 24, 29 & 49 seating coaches. Please indicate which coach size you require when booking. Unfortunately we cannot carry any more passengers than stated. None of the coaches within our fleet allowing standing passengers.
We can accept payment via Debit Card or Credit Card by calling 0844 567 5670. We can also accept Faster Payments & BACS Transfers direct from your bank account, as well payment by cheque. You will be advised when you book when payment will be due by.
A number of coaches within our fleet feature on board toilet facilities. If this is something you will require then please mention at the time of booking.
Under no circumstances is alcohol allowed to be consumed this applies to all coaches, buses and vehicles in our fleet. This condition is strictly non-negotiable and will be strictly enforced by drivers and crew members of the company.
Common Questions - Coach Breaks
We won’t be offering our individual Alton Towers Days Trips until 2012, we still currently offer packages for Groups & Schools. We can cater for Groups of 29 people or more and can offer great deals on Coach Travel & Ticket Packages due to being an official trade partner of the Alton Towers Resort.
We also offer some of the best price Schools Packages in Scotland which include Coach Travel & Tickets and offer exceptional value when compared to organising coach travel and theme park tickets independently.

We are currently working hard behind the scenes here at Aberfoyle Coaches on an exciting new on-line bookings system which will handle all our Coach Breaks bookings.
Our main destination is the Alton Towers Resort however we are currently working on a list of additional destinations which will be announced during early 2012.
We are currently busy behind the scenes working with the Alton Towers Resort planning our Coach Day Trip program from Scotland for 2012. We hope to have dates confirmed and announced by the end of 2011.

Our local Service Bus Network operates across several towns across Western Central Scotland including Callander, Aberfoyle, Balfron, Balloch as well as the City of Glasgow.
On all our service bus routes we are more than happy to give you change* if you don’t have the exact fare.
